Each story is designed to be fun first, with meaningful moments woven naturally into the adventure.

Soft Life Stories Creative Storyteller Award
Reading the story is only the beginning.
Four times each year, young readers will have the opportunity to choose a Soft Life Story, read the book or a free excerpt, and show us where their own creativity takes them.
Participants may respond through storytelling, performance, imagination, interpretation, or another creative approach announced for the current award round.
Entries are judged on creativity, expression, engagement, and originality. Reading level is not the focus.
No purchase is required to participate. Free excerpts from eligible Soft Life Stories are available below.
A parent or guardian must submit the entry on behalf of the young reader.
